
New generic Top Level Domain (gTLD) Program
Together with Me Héloïse Bajer-Pellet, Mr. Phon van den Biesen, and Mr. Sam Wordsworth QC, I acted as legal representative of the Independent Objector, Professor Alain Pellet, during ICANN’s New generic Top Level Domain Program and its objection and dispute resolution mechanism, including expert determination before dispute resolution service providers.
Objections filed by the Independent Objector
The Independence Objector filed a total of 24 objections in respect of nine different strings (and their respective language versions). Eleven objections were Limited Public Interest Objections. 13 objections were Community Objections.
